A little about us

The Designery’s work has been featured across Atlanta through numerous show houses and industry events, most recently the 2020 Holiday House, the 2021 Cloudland Station Showhouse and 2022 Tour of Kitchens , all with Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Magazine.

The Designery is led by Founder, Courtney Shearer. Courtney is an Atlanta based Kitchen & Bath Designer with over a decade of industry experience. A graduate in Furnishings & Interiors from The University of Georgia, Courtney entered the Atlanta design scene in 2008. Creating and connecting with her clients has been her focus since the beginning and her skill for turning what some would consider a stressful undertaking into a fun process has always been her top priority.

“The goal in my designs is for the eye to wander, the heart to skip a beat, and the eyes to feel happier for having been there.”

Respect for the smallest of details and integration of unexpected elements that feel like home has become Courtney’s signature in her design work. Prior to founding The Designery, Courtney worked for Bell Cabinetry & Design for 8 years, earning the title of Director of Design. During her time at Bell, Courtney gained an in-depth technical knowledge of custom cabinetry and integration.

Courtney has been the recipient of numerous design distinctions and awards including, the Calla Award for Kitchen of the Year in 2011 and was selected by The National Kitchen & Bath Association as one of their Top 30 under 30 in its inaugural year of 2013. She also served as the Kitchens Expert with About.com in 2015 through 2016, was named a Top 50 Innovator through Kitchen and Bath Design News in 2018 and was the cover winner for the 2020 Rising Stars by My Home Improvement Magazine.

The Designery Team

Keri Perry

Keri Perry started her design career in 2012 after graduating from the Furnishings and Interiors program at the University of Georgia. Before joining The Designery team in 2020, Keri has worked for a number of companies where she was able to build an in-depth foundation of cabinetry and design knowledge. She has an eye for detail and a passion for space planning that she loves to use to help clients realize the potential of their spaces. She currently lives in Marietta with her husband and two dogs and enjoys updating her personal home when she's not working.

Ryan Foxx

Ryan Foxx, a 2021 graduate from The University of Georgia's Furnishings and Interiors program, is the newest addition to The Designery team. Originally from Williamsburg, VA, Ryan has always loved art but never considered a career in interior design until taking an elective course in college. Once introduced to the world of kitchen and bath design, she knew where she wanted to put her focus as the technical-meets-creative aspect of this field was a perfect fit for her analytical-meets-creative mind.
